About the Show:
Be a part of an intimate conversation with people who are living life on their own terms. Your Mindful Hour Podcast features an eclectic group of inspiring individuals—artists, entrepreneurs, athletes—creatives of all types. We explore life, purpose, and connection to one’s craft. Most only see our guests’ end-products—so we want to understand what goes on inside the minds of our guests. What role does Mindfulness have—if any—in their process? Do they have a formal or informal meditative practice that you may not know about?
Guests may not be the obvious ones when it comes to having a meditation practice….and that’s precisely the way we want it! The show will not feature health and wellness coaches—not because they are not interesting and wonderful (they definitely are!)—but because we are more curious about people who integrate the ideas of health and wellness in a totally different way.
About the Host:
Melissa is a curious person who loves people. In her company, Your Mindful Edge, she coaches a broad range of clients to integrate mindfulness and meditation so they can live with purpose, passion, and without hesitation. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Board Certified Art Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher, and is completing a 200-Hour Meditation Certification program (competition date: 12/16/2018).
